I moved to Herefordshire in 2009 with my wife Tina, after we both retired from full-on professional careers.  

I got involved in supporting the local homeless community soon after we moved here.  I have cooked breakfasts and burnt sausages with the best of them.  I am chair of Hereford Open Door, and in that role, I have provided support for the Winter Night Shelter since Covid.  I have even used some professional skills in applications for grants and commissioned services.  I also volunteer for Citizen’s Advice, cook and do difficult crosswords.
