Alison Pritchard
Trustee

I have worked within the NHS, in industry in Human Resources and administration. I have also worked in community education and youth careers. Since 2016, I retrained as a therapeutic counsellor, which is my current occupation.

Life has had its difficulties, including time as a single parent, experiencing financial hardship, and being “intentionally homeless.” I have known the pain of addiction and homelessness within my family, along with the stress, dysfunction, stigma, and losses it causes, and how impossible it can be to get real help.

I have also witnessed that positive change and new futures are possible with proper, ongoing support and safe, habitable accommodation, which led me to join The Living Hope as a trustee.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, participating in Church activities, exploring the countryside, and singing. My favourite place is with a coffee and a good book.
